Training workshops in Welly
If you’re in or near Wellington tomorrow (Tue) evening, pop along to one or both of our free training workshops! We’re doing back-to-back intros to service design and mapping/GIS. They’re gonna be a _blast_. Details below – please RSVP if you’re coming.
If you’d love the knowledge but can’t make the event(s), don’t worry about it – we’ll be posting links in the Facebook events and on the website :)
Whether you’ve been to a GovHack before, or this is your first time, we really recommend you read our participants information pack and code of conduct before you come along.
And stay tuned for later in the week, when we’ll be emailing you with pointers to data, cool services our sponsors are offering (and how to access them) and more!
Tickets – waitlists and cancellations
Tickets are all gone for the major centres, but have no fear – you can still get onto a waitlist :)
There are still tickets left for some of our events, though, and we think it would be great if you roped in your friends, family and colleagues to join in the GovHack goodness this week. The more the merrier, right?
If you have a ticket and your plans have changed – we know, life happens – please cancel it ASAP so it can go to someone on a waitlist. The easiest way to do this is to go to the ticket Eventbrite emailed you and page down until you see “My account” – that section gives you instructions on how to change/cancel your ticket.
Sponsoring and supporting
And, of course, huge shoutouts to all our venue and other local sponsors :)
If you or your organisation are keen to support GovHack this year, and get directly involved with the southern hemisphere’s largest open data / open government / civic tech hackathon, we’d love to hear from you.
You can also find oodles of sponsorship information on our website. Sponsorship and other information packs
